About
Stuttering.tv is a site dedicated to helping stutterers stutter elegantly
Created by lifelong stutterers Greg Snyder and Daniele Rossi, to spread the love of stuttering and awareness that this mysterious communication thing is not the result of some sort of psychological character flaw. In reality, the latest research reveals that stuttering is much more complex than it may seem; data suggests polygenetic mutations are associated with stuttering, as are structural brain abnormalities and abnormal neurological activation patters during speech production. So in short, stuttering is a legitimate medical condition.
Greg knows enough about stuttering to know that we don’t know enough about stuttering. Greg produces Stuttering.Me, a micropodcast and microblog giving pep talks about personal empowerment, accepting your stuttering and the latest research in the misunderstood phenomenon. Growing up, Greg felt that he stuttered more on plosives; now, he knows that he’s an equal opportunity stutterer.
Danny recently grew to accept his stuttering …and loving it! He won’t stop talking about it so he produces a podcast called Stuttering is Cool along with a web comic of the same name. Danny usually stutters and blocks on his name and words beginning with Es, Ls, Ms, Ns.
Lots more info coming soon as this site is still under development (the podcast hasn’t quite launched yet). So in the meantime, sign up on Twitter if you haven’t already and follow Greg (@stutteringme) and Danny (@stutterdude) and @stutteringtv.
